Postulancy

Postulancy is a period of formation prior to the Novitiate. During Postulancy, the young candidate deepens her awareness of Godโ€™s call. The main goal is to prepare them to accept the challenges of discipleship before entering the Novitiate.

  • A Postulant is accompanied and challenged to make her gradual choice.
  • Postulancy Initiates her to personal and community prayer.
  • The period of Postulancy helps her to have an intense experience of Christian life.
  • Deepen her vocational awareness.
  • Gradually mature in relationships with others and assesses her call.
  • Encounter the heritage of the Institute and assess her suitability to become a DMI.
  • Develop a conscious detachment from the family and get inserted into the religious Community.
