Postulancy

Postulancy is a period of formation prior to the Novitiate. During Postulancy, the young candidate deepens her awareness of God’s call. The main goal is to prepare them to accept the challenges of discipleship before entering the Novitiate.

  • A Postulant is accompanied and challenged to make her gradual choice.
  • Postulancy Initiates her to personal and community prayer.
  • The period of Postulancy helps her to have an intense experience of Christian life.
  • Deepen her vocational awareness.
  • Gradually mature in relationships with others and assesses her call.
  • Encounter the heritage of the Institute and assess her suitability to become a DMI.
  • Develop a conscious detachment from the family and get inserted into the religious Community.
